Our team will numb the tooth so you are comfortable as we remove structure to make room for the restoration. Next, our team takes detailed digital images and measurements, which we use to create a 3D model. We then upload the information into an onsite milling machine, which crafts your crown, inlay, or onlay from a solid block of ceramic. We shade this to blend with your smile and offer a lifelike appearance too!
Attaching Your Restoration
When the dental restoration is ready, we will check the fit and make sure final adjustments are not needed. We then attach the crown or partial with a powerful bonding agent, the same we use to secure dental bridges. Once in place, they can stay there for years to come and maintain a bright appearance. You must care for them as you would for natural teeth, that includes daily brushing and flossing habits, visits for checkups and cleanings, and eating a diet low in sugar.
